Yes. You can bring the invoice to Services like Western Union or “Kassagiro” to pay bills for a smaller fee.

Check online for different options. Try to use your current bank using IBAN and BIC. Otherwise, there are alternatives such as: WISE or Western Union. But be aware of understanding different fee´s and rates.

If you don’t have a Swedish bank account for your first salary, Sebratec will make manual payments to your international bank account until you get your Swedish Bank Account ready. Just make sure you send a printscreen of your BIC and IBAN number to [email protected].

To change the account to which you receive your salary you need to update your bank account information in your HaileyHR profile under "Compensation".

When you've updated your information in HaileyHR, it will be integrated to Fortnox so that your next salary can be paid out to the correct account.

Yes, it is possible to sign a contract for an apartment, but note that it is up to the renter to decide if they are ok with signing without personnummer or not. Usually, landlords are flexible with this and they understand that it will take some time to go through the entire Swedish processes.

Also note that the landlord might want to see prof of work and an employment contract etc. to feel comfortable. If you need this document, please contact your Business Manager.

Check with your credit card company (most recommended due to better prices) or insurance agencies, for example the Assist Card.

Since you will not be able to be connected to insurances through Sebratec until you receive your Swedish personal ID number, it is very important to have your personal insurance meanwhile. We recommend signing up for a travel insurance for approx. three months after your departure.

You can sign up for home insurance and electricity without a personnummer and later update the personal info once you have received your personnummer. However, internet providers usually demand a personnummer.

Yes. It’s very important to have a home insurance and most of the landlords will request it when you rent a place. It’s not expensive and you will be covered against everything related not only to your house/apartment, but also travel, accidents in case of death and more.

You will be covered by the public system as soon as you have the personal number. The service is free and you don’t need to pay any monthly insurance, however, each appointment made where you are registered will cost about 100 SEK per visit (where you are registered) and about 300 SEK (if you are not registered at that particular unit). Any prescriptions will be sent directly to the pharmacy electronically and you just need to provide your personal number/Swedish ID-card at the pharmacy to get it.

When you are employed by Sebratec, you and your family members also have acces to FeelGood Plus where you can get digital support by a private healthcare provider. To use the service you need to have a Swedish personal ID number, download the app and log in using Mobile BankID.

Unfortunately Skatteverket does not provide a specific timeline for this, but usually it takes about 4-18 weeks if the application is made correctly. If there are some documents or additional info that you need to complement with in order to complete the application, the process time could be longer.
